Wildcard Gymnastics Team News

Please note – When you schedule a private lesson with a coach, private lessons run $40-60 per hour depending on the coach.  Please pay in cash or by check and this should be paid before the lesson.  IF you do not pay your coach after the private lesson, it will automatically be run on your account with an additional $15 surcharge.    Gymnasts that do not show up for their scheduled private lesson, or cancel with less than 18 hours of notice, will be charged a $25 fee to cover the coaches expenses.

We definitely encourage private lessons, but please be respectful of the coaches’ time and efforts!  Thanks!

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Wild West meet on October 28-29 has been canceled. We are giving gymnasts an option to sign up for the M&M Pixie Dust Invitational meet the same weekend or have the weekend off.

We initially charged $25 for our gymnasts to compete at the Wild West Meet. If your child does not compete at the M&M meet we will credit your account $25. If your child would like to compete at the M&M meet it will be an additional $25.

During our Friday practices before a meet, please be sure to show your team spirit by wearing an exhibition leotard. New level 2’s (former Fast Track) should not wear their Wildcard exhibition leotard but should wear any purple leotard instead.

What to wear during competition:

No street clothes on the floor. Please wear your warm up (if you have the old one please wear that one until the new ones come in) with your leotard underneath. If you do not have a warm up, please wear black leggings.

New Level 2’s (former Fast Track) should wear their black Wildcard leotards. All other gymnasts should be wearing their long sleeve leotard. If a gymnast must wear underwear of any kind underneath the leotard, please be sure that they do not show. Gymnasts are not allowed to wear shorts during competition.

Please be sure to have hair styled neatly and tightly into a ponytail or pigtails. You can style hair with bows to coordinate with leotards (please be sure to have these items safely secured in the hair).

On Friday, September 15th we will run practice according to the schedule below. Because it is a Friday before a meet, we encourage all competing gymnast to attend.

Every Friday before a meet we show our team spirit, we wear exhibition leotards. Please be sure to wear your exhibition leotard during practice on Friday. If you do not have a long sleeve leotard and you are competing in a short sleeve Wildcard leotard, please wear any purple leotard.

Due to the holiday weekend and low participation, there will be no team practice on Friday, September 1st. Please remember that there is no practice on Saturday, September 2nd and Monday, September 4th. Practice will resume as normal on Tuesday, September 5th.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Infinite Gymnastics has cancelled their September 9th-10th meet. Our first meet will be the September 16-17th in Kenosha. Please note that we are replacing the September 9th-10th Infinite meet with LaFleur’s on November 4th-5th. The rest of the meet schedule remains the same.
