In an attempt to get used to the T&T equipment that is used for competition, we will be heading to M&M (16760 w Victor Rd, New Berlin, WI 53151) for open gym this Saturday, November 28th.  Open gym is from 6pm-8pm.   It is suggested that all levels of T&T attend but not necessary.  However, this open gym is highly recommended for Level 5’s and up.  The cost is $10. Please plan on attending.

Once again we are talking about going to Houston (Waverly Hills), Texas to go to camp that is run by Marta and Bela Karolyi.  It is a great experience and Bela & Marta are always milling around the gym!  With the Olympics in Rio, they are only offering 4 camp dates.  The one that works best for us would be June 20-25.  (Keep in mind AAU Nationals starts June 30 – so we could fly straight from Texas and meet you in Florida!).

I would like to mail our registration and $150 (non-refundable) deposit by Monday, November 30th.  I have registration forms available at the front desk, otherwise you can click on the link and print your own.  I am planning on going to coach and be in a cabin with the kids.  I’d love to take a group of 10 or more!!  AMKM from Rockland, WI already has 20 kids going.  We are talking about group flights/coach bus.  Please let me know asap if you plan to attend and fill out your registration form. We had a great time last year!  And you never know what Olympians might drop in….

Karolyi’s Camp     Cost is $645 (plus airfare, less the $150 deposit)

Level 2 Girls – All team practices (they can leave by 7:30 p.m.)

Xcel Bronze and Silver Holiday Schedule

Due to the holiday next week, Xcel Bronze and Silver practice will be as follows:

Bronze- Monday, November 23, as usual (5:30-7:30) and Saturday, November 23, 11am-1pm

Silver- Tuesday, November 24, as usual (5:30-7:30) and Saturday, November 28, 1pm-3pm.

Private lessons are available. Bronze should arrange with Rhea and Silver should arrange with Beth.

Also, if there is anyone in either Bronze or Silver who has not ordered their warm up jackets, please do so immediately.

T&T News

T&T practice for the holiday week will be held Tuesday, November 24th 7:30-8:30. This will be the only T&T practice that week.

Beginning the week of November 30th, practice will be Tuesdays from 5:30-7 or/and Wednesdays 7:30-8:45. There will no longer be Friday practices unless otherwise stated for make up purposes. As always, practice is open to both days if felt needed.

A few T&T reminders…if you have not done so, please be sure to purchase trampoline shoes, as they are required for competition. If you do not have a short sleeve exhibition or a long sleeve competition leotard, please see Rhea. Either leotard is needed to compete in. Also, it is a T&T regulation that girls hair is pulled back in a tight bun during competition.

In regards to meets, as soon as meet information is received, it will be shared here on the blog. Our first meet is coming up shortly, information should be received soon.
