Monday, May 30th – NO Evening practice or AM open Gym…

ALL Teams: Gold Bugs, Fast Track, Xcel, T&T, Boys Team, Girls Team

Wildcard Gymnastics will be participating in the Elm Grove Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 30th. Gymnasts on any level of team (Boys’, Girls’, Xcel or Tumbling & Trampoline), Fast Track or Gold Bugs are invited to participate. Parents or siblings may participate in the parade, but must be wearing a Wildcard T-Shirt or jacket. We will not have any t-shirts at the start of the parade. Parents and siblings are also not allowed to march with strollers during the parade. We will need about 4-6 parents to carry the banner and pass out brochures. Please talk to Amy ahead of time to reserve your spot.

The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Gymnasts need to report to Elm Grove Village Park (13600 Juneau Blvd.) by 9:30 a.m. The drop off is located at the footbridge on Legion Drive (there will be a DROP OFF HERE sign). Gymnasts will need to be dropped and will need to walk to our starting location (TBD). The parade concludes at the corner of Wall Street and Elm Street at The Grove Shopping Center (Sendiks Food Market). We ask that parents park there and promptly pick up gymnasts by the bank on Wall & Elm Street (I believe it is a BMO Harris). Amy’s cell is: 414-303-5195.

Gymnasts should come prepared wearing purple leotard or our former exhibition leotard. If your child does not have any of these leotards, a Wildcard Gymnastics t-shirt is sufficient. Gymnasts should wear athletic shoes and socks (no sandals) and should wear stretch gloves for tumbling. Also, please bring water (preferably half of a squeeze bottle that has been frozen).

If we have inclement weather, which is possible, we will allow gymnasts to march in their warm-up jacket and black pants/leggings/capris. If it is raining, we will likely not tumble but bring a clear plastic garbage bag if it is raining, because we will still march.

Saturday, June 11th, 2016 in the parking lot behind Anchor Bank, West Allis Downtown and Thera-Dynamics Physical Therapy are proud to present the first ever Shape up your Summer! This small event is to encourage citizens of West Allis to move every day during summer vacation. From 10 am to 11:30 am, guests are invited to learn about and participate in Physical Therapy, Yoga with Heather Eiden, Hula Hooping with Rebecca Lucas,
Bicycle Safety with the Wisconsin Bike Federation,Basketball, DIY Workout clothes
and more!

At 11:30 am, guests are encouraged to walk or run the Downtown Mile, starting on the south side of 75th and Greenfield Avenue, going to 70th and Greenfield, crossing Greenfield Avenue, and back to 75th. Everyone who participates in the mile will receive a free Shape Up Your Summer rubber bracelet.

Wildcard Gymnastics (Select Gymnasts only!) will be performing and helping with the obstacle course from 10-11:30 a.m. Please wear tank tops or competition/exhibition leotards and black shorts. Don’t forget sun screen.

Wildcard will be performing at the Cricket Wireless Stage
Located on the North Side of 73rd and Greenfield Avenue

Girls Level 2-9; Boys; Xcel Gymnasts; and T&T members are to attend.

Performances are at 1 and 3 p.m. Please arrive 15 mins early to stretch.
Girls should wear their shortsleeve exhibition OR Longsleeve competition leotard (and black shorts if necessary) and boys should wear a Wildcard T-shirt and Black shorts.

This is a fun family event and there will be inflatables and other vendors to check out. The event runs noon to 6 p.m.

Admission is $12.50 for ages 5-12, $17.50 for adults. Length of event, $25 for ages 5-12, $35 for adults.  Ages 3 and under are free.  Parking at the ESPN Wide World of Sports is free.

You can buy discounted sports theme park tickets by going theme park tickets.  You can add Park Hopper and Water Park Fun onto your tickets.  You must enter the password AAUagg16.

Monthly tuition was unable to be processed this week due to issues with our new credit card processor. 

Parents will need to re-enter credit card info to their family accounts via the studio director online system.  This can be accessed through our main website:

4. Anyone without payments or updated info will be contacted by Wednesday May 18th.

As usual monthly tuition has posted to accounts on the first.  Thank you for working with us as we continue to move forward.  This month we have switched our merchant account to Vantiv, one of the largest and most secure merchant carriers.  The process is now complete.  Tuition will continue to post on the first and be processed  on the 10th of each month.  Please review your accounts monthly to verify that your tuition and other charges are being paid on time.

Due to the limited amount of gymnasts attending practice on Thursday May 12th, Xcel Bronze should attend practice with the Fast Track Purple group from 4:30-6:30pm.  Xcel Bronze’s normal practice time will not run.

Again, Thursday, May 12th, Xcel Bronze will practice with Fast Track Purple from 4:30-6:30pm.

Practice will resume as normal on Tuesday, May 17th.

Boys team will continue practicing at the same time Monday and Thursday from 4:30 – 6:30.  As of June 13th, Mondays will become a 2.5 hour practice and extra days will be offered.

Boys will have the option to come in Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 and Saturdays 10am-1pm if desired to get extra time working out or to make-up any absences.

Boys Team members should continue to due their best to make it to the assigned Monday and Thursday practice times.  Let Coach Ben know if you have scheduled absences at least 1 week in advance.

The boys are really excited about getting their skills together.  Ask them about there biggest challenges and how they will tackle them.  Lets have a great summer working out and having fun doing gymnastics!!

If you have selected to have the card on file charged for the leotard order, that will take place later this evening.  If you have provided a different credit card to pay for the leotards, that will also take place this evening.  If you have provided a check, it will be deposited no later than Friday.

If there are any questions or concerns regarding this, please let us know.

If you have not placed your leotard order, please be sure to do so by end of night tonight.  Late orders will have an additional $50 processing fee.

We are planning to start the summer schedule and morning practices the week of June 13th.  We may have to make a few modifications because of a couple coaches that will be out of town and our travel to AAU Nationals.  Reminder:  Gold Bugs follow the Recreational class schedule.
