Wildcard Gymnastics Team News

Below you will find the competition schedule for the upcoming meet season for Levels 2-5.  There are 8 meets plus the State Meet.  All gymnasts will be registered for each meet.  Eight meets sounds like a lot, but we have found improvement in our girls over the meet season.   There will be 4 installments of meet fees that will begin in July and end in October.  Meet fees will be applied to accounts on the 11th of the month and withdrawn from the card on file on the 24th.  Please be sure to be current on meet fees as this may result in non participation of meets.  There are no refunds on missed meets.  The installments are as follows;

Level 2—–$140.00 each (July, August, September, October)
Level 3—–$160.00 each (July, August, September, October)
Level 4&5–$170.00 each (July, August, September, October)

In order to keep up with the cost of doing business, Monthly Team Fees have gone up as of June 1st.  Below you will find your new tuition fees by Level.

Xcel Silver –> $160

Xcel Gold  –> $170

L2 & L3 –> $170

L4          –> $180

L5 & L6 –> $190

L7,8,9    –> $200

Parents are reminded to monitor accounts and keep all account information current.  Please make sure all contact information is up-to-date.  Please make sure credit cards on file are current.  Tuition posts on the first of each month.  Auto-Tuition is processed on the 10th of each month.  If you are not on auto tuition payments are due before the 10th of each month.

All teams are expected to attend. This includes Girls Level 2-9; Boys; Gold Bugs I & II, Fast Track, Xcel; and T&T.

Girls should wear their short sleeve purple exhibition OR long sleeve competition leotard (and black shorts if necessary) and boys should wear a Wildcard T-shirt and Black shorts.

Please note: if it is raining there will not be a show; we cannot put the mats down if the ground is wet.

This is a fun family event and there will be inflatables and other vendors to check out. The event runs noon to 6 p.m.

Due to Memorial Day weekend, we will have an open practice from 4:30-6:30 tomorrow, Friday, May 26th. Please do not forget about the parade on Monday.

Elm Grove Memorial Day Parade – 5/29

Monday, May 29th – NO Evening practice or AM open Gym…

ALL Teams: Gold Bugs 1& 2, Fast Track, Xcel, T&T, Boys Team, Girls Team

Wildcard Gymnastics will be participating in the Elm Grove Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 30th. Gymnasts on any level of team (Boys’, Girls’, Xcel or Tumbling & Trampoline), Fast Track or Gold Bugs are invited to participate. Parents or siblings may participate in the parade, but must be wearing a Wildcard T-Shirt or jacket. We will not have any t-shirts at the start of the parade. Parents and siblings are also not allowed to march with strollers during the parade. We will need about 4-6 parents to carry the banner and pass out brochures. Please talk to Amy ahead of time to reserve your spot.

The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Gymnasts need to report to Elm Grove Village Park (13600 Juneau Blvd.) by 9:30 a.m. The drop off is located at the footbridge on Legion Drive (there will be a DROP OFF HERE sign). Gymnasts will need to be dropped and will need to walk to our starting location (ask when you get there). The parade concludes at the corner of Wall Street and Elm Street at The Grove Shopping Center (Sendiks Food Market). We ask that parents park there and promptly pick up gymnasts by the bank on Wall & Elm Street (I believe it is a BMO Harris). Amy’s cell is: 414-303-5195. Amy will wait to escort any gymnasts at 9:00 a.m. Gymnasts arriving later should meet us at the starting location.

Gymnasts should come prepared wearing a purple leotard or our former exhibition leotard. If your child does not have any of these leotards, a Wildcard Gymnastics t-shirt is sufficient. Gymnasts should wear athletic shoes and socks (no sandals) and should wear stretch gloves for tumbling. Also, please bring water (preferably half of a squeeze bottle that has been frozen).

If we have inclement weather, which is possible, we will allow gymnasts to march in their warm-up jacket and black pants/leggings/capris. If it is raining, we will likely not tumble but bring a clear plastic garbage bag if it is raining, because we will still march. Don’t forget sunscreen if it sunny!

I am missing leotard orders from the following – please let Amy (amyg@wildcard-gymnastics.com) know, if you are planning on NOT ordering the exhibition leotard!!  Keep in mind, we wear these for any event we do in the summer; as well as if we have any news appearances; parades, exhibitions, etc.   Do not count on us ordering many extras.   Fast Track (and probably Gold Bugs 2) will use these to compete until we order new long-sleeve leotards next Summer.

Cost is $40 and I will be placing the order by Friday!! Last CALL. Please click on the google doc in the earlier post to register for the leo. I have sizes for Fast Track and I can size who ever else needs one. Please let us know ASAP. (Now that I’ve figured out who has ordered, I will apply charges to the account by the end of the week.)

Fast Track: T & Th 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Level 2 Silver: T 9-noon; T & Th 4:30-7:30 p.m., F 9-12:30

Level 2 Purple: T 9-noon; M & W 4:30-7:30 p.m.; Sa 9-noon

Level 3: T 9-noon; M & W 4:30-7:30 p.m.; F 9–12:30

Level 4: Th 9-noon; T & TH 4:30-7:30 (possibly 8:30 ?) p.m.; F 9-12:30

Level 6-8: T, Th, F 9-noon; M, T, TH 4:30-8:30 p.m.

Please remember we will have a few exhibitions this summer. All team gymnasts are expected to attend.
