These are the last few weeks of practice before we head back to the Fall schedule.  Please make sure you are attending your SCHEDULED practices.  Additional practices are great and for the rest of the summer gymnasts are welcome to attend any Morning 9-noon (except Fridays 9-12:30) and Evenings 4:30-7:30 p.m. (Level 4s and up should stay until 8:30 p.m.).  Please see the previous blog post for the Fall practice schedule.

It’s CRUNCH TIME!!  Aside from allowing Level 2-9 to come every day this week:  T-Th 9-noon and Friday 9-12:30; and evenings L2 & 3:  T-TH 4:30-7:30; L4: 4:30-8:30…we are offering Private lessons.  Please click on the google doc below and and sign up.

PRIVATE LESSON DOC

Please write in your private lesson. (Do not change anyone else’s lesson!).  Only one lesson per time slot/coach. Please make your coach aware of the lesson after you sign up (text is fine). You must pay in cash before the lesson (directly to your coach), it cannot be put on your account.  Please arrive promptly! Cancellations without 24 hours notice will be charged the ½ the fee; no-shows will be charged the entire amount.  Costs range from $45-$50 depending on coach.

This week will determine which Level your gymnast will be competing in the fall.  It may mean that she will need to compete a lower level, but she will probably continue to work out with the higher level except for Fridays before a meet.  We want all our gymnasts to be successful and have a good season.  Should gymnasts meet their requirements, they may be allowed to move up mid-season (per coach evaluation).  Regardless, Please make every effort to get your gymnast here for as many practices as possible so that she has the opportunity to be ready for the meet season.   *Don’t forget about the routine clinic on Sunday!  (See prior post).  If you are unable to attend, please schedule a private lesson with a coach.  You may include those details in the table.

Sunday, July 29th there will be a mandatory compulsory routine clinic for girls level 2-4.  This will be the last and final opportunity for the gymnasts to learn their routines.  After this date they will be expected to know the routines since we have been working on them during practice and at the clinic.  We would like to start practicing them with music so any gymnasts that don’t attend and don’t know the routines will have to schedule a private lesson.  This clinic will cover the floor and beam routines.  Please make every effort to have your child here.  (Private lessons start at $45/hr varies by coach and must be scheduled in advance.)

Level 3s will practice from 9-11am

Level 2s will practice from 11-1pm

Level 4s will practice from 2-4pm

Several team girls are planning to attend gymnastics camp at AMKM in Rockland, WI.  You can still sign your daughter up if you are interested.  This is a special discount for Wildcard Gymnastics…For less than 10 Wildcard gymnasts the cost will be only $350/gymnast; however, if we have 11 or more gymnasts, that could bring the price down to $300/gymnast.
