There will be no practice on Friday, March 12, 2021 with the exception of COMPETING OPTIONALS. These girls know who they are.

LUCKY INVITE UPDATE: Each athlete is allowed TWO spectators.

I need to register for AAU State (sorry, it snuck up on me!) – due date is March 4th, Cost is $150. Gymnasts who have not competed AAU yet this year will need a AAU membership (cost is $20 – expires in August). AAU State will be held in La Crosse, April 23-25. Please let AMY or Kate know asap if your gymnast will be competing!! (As of right now this is still the same weekend as USAG Compulsory State – I’m thinking Rae will coach at USAG State if your gymnast is planning to attend, and I will be going to AAU State. I think AAU will work with us to be able to compete at both if you are interested. Please let me know about USAG State – whether you want to compete or not!)

We have been asked by Panhandle Perfection (my sister’s club in Florida) to particpate in their home meet which is virtual. They are competing NGA which is a new governing body for gymnastics (but hasn’t quite become popular in Wisconsin yet)…lots of teams in the South trying it. It’s run by former Olympians (Kim Zmeskal and more) as alternative to USAG. We will compete under Panhandle Perfection for this meet, just to try it but should we decide to compete other meets as NGA, we will purchase our own membership. They too hold a Nationals in Orlando and other fun events. The cost is $65. Payment will be run on 2/26 for anyone planning to compete. We would like the whole competition team represented! We will be videoing their routines at practice on 2/26. Gymnasts should wear their competition leotards and come with their hair meet-ready! It is a closed meet – you are welcome to watch in the viewing room but as the judges aren’t live, we are just taping the routines. Hope you will all join us for another chance to compete our routines and earn some medals. (We can even talk about going to NGA Nationals if you are interested!)

Turner Virtual Gymnastics Invitational

Cost: $25

Date: 2/5/21

Location: AT PRACTICE- please have your gymnast bring or wear her competition leo to practice this Friday and have hair pulled back. Please also bring warm-ups (if you don’t have the pants, black leggings will be fine). We will be running practice as a meet. Each athlete will perform all of their routines for the group (and a camera).

Registration and Payment deadline: We would like to see 100% team participation. This will be fun for the girls to watch one another. All current gymnasts levels 2-9 will be competing at this virtual meet on Friday. We will charge accounts of those in attendance on Friday.

There will be no team practice January 29, 2021 due to an out of town meet.

Levels 2-4 begin at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive at 8:45 a.m.

Levels 5-9 begin at 12:30 p.m. Please arrive at 12:15 p.m.

ONLY ONE SPECTATOR PER PERSON is going to be allowed – sorry.

There is NO entry fee. Please bring your own water bottles (gymnasts).
