We are coming up on our last four meets of the USAG season and preparing for the AAU season! Our first AAU meet will be in February. AAU is a more relaxed and less competitive season than USAG. Because our girls are used to competing USAG, they typically do very well in AAU, which makes it more fun! In AAU, each child has the opportunity to medal more as well. Most meets, kids are able to get up to five medals!! These meets are a little more pricey than USAG and involve traveling a bit throughout Wisconsin/Illinois. We try to coordinate hotels with parents so that our gymnasts can hang out in the pool while the parents mingle pool side. (Be sure to join the ‘Wildcard Team Parents’ Facebook page where we typically post our hotels!)

Most meets are optional, however, we encourage all kids to participate for the extra practice and team bonding.

Here are the upcoming regular season meets we will be doing:

February 2-3 – Hub City – Marshfield, WI 

**February 16-17 – Carnival Classic – Wildcard (AAU & USAG)

March 30-31st – AMKM – Rockland, WI

The cost of the three above meets will be $325, plus a $25 2019 AAU Membership fee. This can be paid in one installment or two. The first installment is due by 12/1/18 and the second is due 1/1/19. 

*Everyone will be expected to do the Carnival Classic. If this is the only meet you will be doing the cost is $125. This will include AAU and USAG. If your child is trying out their new level they may have the opportunity to score out and be ready to work their new level for the summer.

These meets below are not part of the three meet package. We will collect sign-ups at a later date. There is no qualification score required to participate in any of these meets.

Central District/State Championship – Rockford, IL (approx. $100)

Midwest Regionals – Eau Claire, WI (approx. $150)

AAU Nationals – ESPN World Wide Sports – Disney – Florida (approx. $150-200)
