AAU NATIONALS — While Las Vegas may not have been the ideal destination for AAU Age Group Nationals, the meet was very successful for Wildcard Gymnastics. Every Wildcard gymnast who attended won a medal. Wildcard Gymnasts won six gold medals and we had 27 top-three finishes. Congratulations go out to Aaliyah K., the Girls’ Level 6 national vault and floor champion, and to West F., the Boys’ Level 5 national floor, rings, horizontal bar and all-around champion.

Registration for AAU Junior Olympics is open for gymnasts who wish for a chance to compete for another AAU national championship.
SUMMER PRACTICE SCHEDULE BEGINS JUNE 16 — The summer practice schedule begins June 16. The evening practices remain the same for everyone except the Level 5-8 boys, who move from Monday and Wednesday to Tuesday and Thursday.
Additionally, the Friday evening practice for everyone switches to Friday 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. As a reminder, open gym immediately follows practice and runs from 12:30-2 p.m.
FOURTH OF JULY PARADES — The following gymnasts should attend the following parades. More information as to exact meeting times and locations will follow.
Thursday, July 2; 7 p.m. — West Allis — All Gymnasts
Saturday, July 4; 9 a.m. — Wauwatosa — Girls’ Level 2-5, Girls’ Xcel Bronze, Silver, Gold, Gold Bugs
Saturday, July 4; 10 a.m. — Brookfield — Girls’ Level 6-9, Girls’ Fast Track, Girls’ Xcel Platinum, Boys’ All Levels, Tumbling & Trampoline (those not on a gymnastics team)
Saturday, July 4; 2 p.m. — Butler — All Gymnasts
The Butler parade is an added parade, which promises to be very short. It also is the closest parade to the gym.
Should your family have a conflict as to which of the Wauwatosa or Brookfield parades to attend, please see a team coach to determine which parade you should attend.
We should have t-shirts available in the pro shop for those families or gymnasts who need them.
MEET SCHEDULES UPDATE — There were a couple of meets that shifted meet dates. As a result, we have updated the meet schedule for the fall Girls’ Level 2-4 season:

Oct. 3-4 at Swiss Turners (West Allis) — Levels 3, 4, 5

Oct. 24-25 Wild Wild West Classic (Brookfield) — Levels 2, 3, 4, 5
Nov. 7-8 at Starz (Green Bay) — Levels 3, 4
Nov. 14-15 at M&M (New Berlin) — Levels 2, 3, 4
Nov. 21-22 at Salto (Waukesha) — Levels 2, 3, 4
Dec. 5-6 at State Championships (Madison) — Levels 2, 3, 4
The installments are due starting at the end of June. They are the following:
Level 2 Fees: $225 ($75 per installment due June 30, July 30, Aug. 30)
Level 3 Fees: $450 ($150 per installment due June 30, July 30, Aug. 30)
Level 4 Fees: $480 ($160 per installment due June 30, July 30, Aug. 30)
Level 5 Fees: $150 ($50 per installment due June 30, July 30, Aug 30)

At the moment, only 15 gymnasts have placed an order with just five days to go. With more than 100 gymnasts on team, we should have more orders by now. These are required for competition.

EXHIBITION/LEVEL 2 & XCEL COMPETITION LEOTARD — The leotard required for Level 2s (current Fast Track) and Xcel (Bronze and Silver members) has been added to the page for warm-up purchases. We have a few in stock and those are first-come, first-served if we have those in stock. Please place those by June 30.
BAGS – We have looked into getting new gym bags or backpacks. Those will be added to the ordering website once we have those approved.
LAST CALL FOR US CLASSIC TICKETS — The deadline for U.S. Classic tickets is fast approaching. We can get group tickets for the event for $35. (We do need enough to make a group, however. At this point, we’re still shy). Please let us know by June 20 if you wish to attend.
