The Optionals (Levels 6-9) are planning to attend the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Camp July 21-23. The cost is $400 for the non-commuters. Gymnasts registered and paid in full by May 1st will receive a leotard and t-shirt. For more info and to register click here.  This is the High Performance Camp 2.  Please have girls write one of the Wildcard Teammates down as a roommate.  REGISTER BY MAY 1st!!

UW-Whitewater is also offerring camps for Levels 2 and up and Xcel. If you are interested in going, check out their website and offerrings.  Cost is $540 for 4 days for non-commuters.

Okay all, Here’s the long-awaited news…

We will be doing Wisconsin AAU State because it is the only one that doesn’t conflict with the USAG Optional schedule.  However, due to the USAG schedule the dates have changed.  WI AAU State will be held April 29-30 in Onalaska.   *Gymnasts planning to attend Regionals and/or Nationals MUST compete in the State meet.  Cost is $100.

Then…We also have the option to attend the AAU Midwest Regionals being held in Rockford, IL on May 5th-7th.  This is an additional $150 fee but I can guarantee, if it’s anything like Nationals, the medals are pretty cool and its well-worth it.  PLUS, it’s a Regional Title!

To round out the AAU season, our last meet is the AAU Age Group National Championships in Kingsport, TN.  This will be held June 22-25th.  Again, typically an awesome experience.  The medals are huge!  And it’s a NATIONAL title.  (Hopefully, if we have State/Regional/National Medalists, I can work on getting a banner put up for this year!).  The entry fee is $200.  (This fee may go down according to AAU, depending on how many kids enter).

These meets are open to ALL GIRLS Levels 2-9, as well as Xcel.  I would love an Xcel team to go with us.  We could probably still enter you into the Rainbow (April 1-2) Meet or Carousel (April 8-9th).  Please let us know ASAP if you plan to attend.  The cost is $75 per meet.  Technically, you are supposed to have competed two AAU meets this season, but I could probably get you in having done one.

Attached to this document is a form you are supposed to fill out for AAU and WILDCARD letting us know of your intent to compete.  The only check that is due right now is for the apparel and the STATE fee.  Please return this form (and fill out this google form )so that we know your intent in participation. THIS IS DUE FRIDAY!!  YOU MUST REGISTER FOR STATE BY THIS FRIDAY, and let us know of your intent for Regionals/Nationals.  Please submit your order for the APPAREL too.

*Previously posted was the info about the Nationals/Regionals leotard for Wisconsin.  We do request that gymnasts planning to attend the Regionals/Nationals will purchase this leotard.  They are made by Ozone and very good quality.  The girls that had the ones from last year, really liked them.

If families intend on attending either AAU Regionals (Rockford, IL in May) or AAU Nationals (Kingport, TN in June), here is the design for the Wisconsin apparel. These are optional, but a really cute way to represent our state.  The leotard is $35, t-shirt is $20, the v-neck is $30, and the hoodie is $40. There are also shorts available (not pictured) that are $20.  Please let us know if you would like to order and the sizes by clicking here. We are trying to gauge interest in participation for Regionals for Level 6 and Xcel.  Regionals for both are the same weekend April 21-23rd.  Level 6 will be held in Kenosha and Xcel will be held in the Dells.
