With the gym closing due to the temperatures Weds (we are hoping to be open Thursday), Friday Practice is now OPEN to all team members on Friday, 2/1/19. Practice will run from 4:30 – 8:30pm. (Gymnasts participating in the Hub City meet will run through routines from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and then go back to events from 6:30-8:30 p.m.). If your gymnast competes on Saturday and you want to take your gymnast early at 6:30 p.m. that is fine. There will be coaches staying until Open Gym on Friday night, so gymnasts can stay the whole time.
Stay tuned for updates about Thursday’s practices. We are hoping to be open. Be safe!
We are asking every gymnast parent to respond, whether they are attending or not. This will give us an accurate account and will allow us to track all gymnast.
Please click here to respond. To learn more about this opportunity please read below…
Since Wildcard is an auxiliary member of the American Turner organization, we are invited to participate in the Turner National Meet in Fort Wayne, IN. The meet format will be a little different, but we would love to take as many gymnasts that can come.
Level 2s will compete as Bronze (but do their normal compulsory routines)
Level 3, 4 and 5 will compete Compulsory (same as USAG)
Level 6 will compete as Gold.
Level 8 will compete as Platinum or Diamond.
There is also a cultural competition where the kids and adults can submit art projects for points or even participate in Track and Field. We would love to have lots of representation from Wildcard!
The meet fee is $50. We need to know if your gymnast will be competing by 2/25. And payment is due by 3/1. Thanks!
