Wildcard Gymnastics Team News

Due to the heat, lack of coaches and kids/teachers that started school this week, we will end tonight’s practice at 7:30 pm. If there’s less than 15 kids, we may end at 6:30 pm! 🤪

On September 10, 2021, we will be holding a “Mock Meet” during practice. This will be for levels 2-5. Please have your gymnast come in their competition leotards and with hair done. Practice will be 4:30-8:30 for everyone to accommodate for the meet. Optionals still need to attend to help with the meet.

Wild Card Slides

COST INCLUDES PERSONALIZATION

There will be no girls’ team practice on Monday. That practice will be made up on Wednesday, August 11 from 4:30-7:30pm.

This is the last week of morning practices. The Fall Schedule begins August 7th. Please note, there was a typo on the original schedule. On Tuesdays, Level 4 and up will practice from 4:30-8:30.

Those that have been advised to schedule private lessons, please get those scheduled ASAP. You must pay each coach directly with cash, check, venmo, etc. as the coaches are NOT paid for this extra time and instruction by Wildcard.

Warm-ups, backpacks, and sweatshirts have been ordered. We expect them to arrive in 4-6 weeks, so we SHOULD have them in time for the first competition.

Just a friendly reminder- Leaving a card on file authorizes Wildcard to run it for monthly tuition. Team families SHOULD have a card on file or make your payment prior to the first of the month. If you have your card info stored on file, and you are a member of Team (including Fast Track), your card will be run when tuition fees are added to your account. ALSO, if you plan to discontinue your Team membership, you must give at least 30 days notice to avoid paying for the next month tuition. Remember that gymnasts’ accounts MUST be current in order to be registered and compete in competitions.

Please fill out and turn in Safe Sport paperwork ASAP.

We just learned that the Summer Fest Parades are no longer happening.

Fast Track kids planning to compete will plan to do the “360 meets” except for the one in TN. That is a total of 4 meets, $450.

Level 6-10, meet fees will begin in September. That will be 3 installments of $400 each. These will be run on the 15th of Sept., Oct., and Nov.

Next week begins Fall Practice Schedule. Fast Track Silver will be practicing Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 4:30-7:30. Because of the increase of hours (coaching time) there will be a $20 increase to tuition, starting September 1, 2021. If you have a card on file, as a member of team, you automatically authorize Wildcard to charge your account, and it will automatically run when tuition is added to your account. Please give us at least 30 days notice if you plan to discontinue team.

With everything that has happened in the gymnastics community in the last few years, USAG and Safe Sport have stepped up to provide some comprehensive information to help advocate for our gymnasts. I will attach some of the documentation and we will be posting the documentation (consent forms, reports, etc) on our website and on the blog. We want to make sure our girls are safe at all times. Almost all team coaches have participated in the USAG Safety Certification and Safe Sport courses.

SummerFest Parades – We were invited to do 3 Summerfest parades! Summerfest is being held over three weeks in September. The dates of the parades are 9/4, 9/11 and 9/17. These are Saturdays. Line up is at 2 p.m. (parade starts at 2:45 I think). Each gymnast that participates will receive a child ticket and a parent ticket for each parade.
