Wildcard Gymnastics Team News

It has come to my attention that parents of the new level 3’s have questions and concerns. There will be a parent meeting tomorrow, Friday, January 15th at 4pm to address those questions and concerns. 

We need at least 30 orders!!  Get your Wildcard on!  Check out the cool new T-shirts and Sweatshirts!  Orders are due March 25th –  we must submit them by April 1st.

Unfortunately, Wildcard will be unable to host the Cruise Classic this year as we are having difficulty accessing the Meet Registration and we are running out of time. But keep your fingers crossed for next year’s Wild West meet and 2017 Cruise Classic.

Hal’s Harley Meet hosted by Midwest Twisters on February 12-14, will replace the Wildcard Cruise Classic for Optionals and Xcel. However, There will be an additional charge due to the change of venue. (Because it is not our meet, we will credit Xcel and Optionals the meet fee it would have cost at Wildcard and the remaining charge will be up to Optionals and Xcel to pay.)  Optionals and Xcel will owe an additional $75 for the meet fee.

Any Levels 2-6 that would like to compete please let us know ASAP. The cost is $100 for Levels 2-5, and $125 for any new Level 6s looking to compete their new routines. They are looking to have final numbers by Friday, Jan. 14th. Please email Amy at amyg@wildcard-gymnastics.com so we can get them entered.

Tuition will post on the first of each month and then run on the 10th if not paid in advance. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding your account information such as Login and Password (We can reset your password if needed), Tuition, Meet Fees, Balance, Etc.

Meet fees that are not paid in full by the 20th of January will run on the 22nd of February for those individuals competing this season.

As you can see this is a very long meet. Packing a lunch, snacks, and plenty of things to do (tablets, activity books, ipod, etc) is highly suggested. Also, I am not sure of what the temperature will be like but do not hesitate bringing a throw or small blanket or anything else to keep warm. We have been quite cold at our last two meets.

Girls’ Team practice will end at 7:30 pm. There will be a mandatory parent/gymnast meeting for Level 8 gymnasts. All other gymnasts will be dismissed. We will most likely have a Level 6-7 parent/gymnast meeting in the near future as well.

Just a reminder that these meets run long and usually run ahead of schedule. Please remember to leave jewelry including earrings at home. Don’t forget trampoline shoes. Packing a lunch, snacks, and plenty of things to do (tablets, activity books, ipod, etc) is highly suggested. Gymnasts are free to leave at the completion of awards after their last event.

Also, Please remember that practice for T&T has changed. Practice for T&T is now Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00pm-5:30pm. New practice times go in effect Tuesday, January 5th.

We will plan to attend open gym at M&M as often as possible. Along with tonight’s outing, We plan to attend open gym again right before the meet. IF they are still going to have open gym Saturday, January 9th, we will attend that day as well. Please remember Open Gym is 6pm-8pm is $10.

Upcoming Meets

Our next meet is the Hang 10.0 meet in Kenosha January 16th and 17th. The meet schedule for this one will be posted soon. We also have Chinese New Year Invite February 7th in Fitchburg. As soon as the meet schedule for this becomes available (within the next few weeks), it will be posted.

State Meet

State meet for T&T will be on Sunday, April 3rd. It is being hosted in Sun Prairie at Sun Prairie High School. Gymnast qualify for State by attending two regular season meets.
